Firefox Stuff I Love:
Did I miss something? After years of using firefox, I only today discovered the magic of bookmark keywords, thanks to Lifehacker. You can set up keywords to use the address bar as a network command line to do quick whois searches or traceroutes, or to send mail through your gmail account. You can create keywords to launch standard searches directly from your address bar, such as dictionary lookups, google image searches, wikipedia queries, and acronym explanations. Yes, you can do that from your dropdown search widget if it’s in your firefox toolbar. But this is so easy: just Ctrl-L to get to the address bar, and type dict serendipity or amazon “for dummies”.
