Printables
Inspired by Friedbeef’s Top 5 Useful Items You Never Knew You Could Print Out, here’s a list of interesting printables I’ve come across in my travels:
- The D*I*Y Planner is “a set of free do-it-yourself templates, covers, documentation and other gear for creating your own highly customised paper planner system”
- The PocketMod, another paper alternative to an electronic organizer, is customizable and portable, and even includes a pocket for carrying a credit card or ID.
- Speaking of pockets, how about the surprisingly handy and sturdy paper wallet? Write on it, doodle on it, or customize it with photos.
- Design and print your own iPod cover
- Generate great mazes.
- Create your own camera lens hood — or even the camera itself.
- Create a photo-booklet.
- Print and fold a paper CD case.
- PDFPad has a great selection of printable graph paper, staff paper and even sudoku puzzles.
- Print out some Triazzle-style puzzles. Includes instructions for creating your own with Photoshop.
- Print and fold a 3D paper dragon that appears to follow you with its head.
- Select an attractive calendar from a variety of formats at eprintable.com.
- Create some pretty gift boxes.
