Bloxes are kind of a grown-up, eco-friendly version of Lego. Available in either white or brown, they can connect on all six sides, to create sturdy platforms, office dividers, or even furniture. They may seem kind of pricey at about $60 for a case of 20, but they sure do look fun. (via lifehacker; photo by Scott Robbin)

Block Posters is an incredibly easy-to-use website where you can create and print a large poster from any image for free. Simply upload your image, choose how wide you want it to be, download the resulting PDF file for printing, and join the pages together. Check out the gallery for some examples of how others have used the tool. Some people have mounted their creations on foamboard, others have framed them, and one even incorporated it into his final project for furniture design class.
